Obituary for Sharon Lee Dutcher

November 14, 1949 - March 15, 2026

With heavy hearts, the family of Sharon Lee Dutcher announces her passing on March 15, 2026, at the age of 76. Sharon lived a life defined by fierce independence, and a spirit that never stopped seeking adventure.

Born on November 14, 1949, Sharon grew into a woman known for her strength, humor, and the love she held for those around her. She was a loving mother, a proud grandmother, a cherished sister, and a beloved aunt.

Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her children, Chad (Brenda) Brandow, Tammy (Raymond) Tompkins, and Toby Wehner. As well as her beloved grandchildren, Felicia (Blake Smith, fiancée), Cameron (Leah) Brandow, Taelor Schuler, Katee Tompkins, and Samuel Tompkins.

Sharon is survived by her brothers and sisters, Ernie (Karen) Dutcher, Mark Dutcher and Harry

(Bev) Williams, Sandy Watts and Jackie Dutcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Kathleen Dutcher, and her sisters Kathy

Williams, Barb Holloway, and Pam Dutcher.

Sharon held a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews, who knew her affectionately as "Aunt Sharon." She embraced each of them with warmth, humor, and unwavering support.

One of Sharon's proudest accomplishments was owning a small diner, Chica Dee's, in Muskegon.

With the help of many friends and family, she grew a loyal following of regulars who came not only for the food, but for the love, laughter, and community she served up every day. Sharon poured her heart into that little diner, making it a welcoming place where everyone felt at home.

A woman of energy and grit, Sharon spent many years as an avid softball player, forming lifelong friendships on the field. She also loved the freedom of the open road and proudly rode her Harley-Davidson well into her sixties-an expression of the bold, adventurous spirit that defined her.

Those who knew Sharon will remember her kindness, her fire, her loyalty, and the way she made a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace, riding free once again. Celebration of Life
