Conner, Sharon Elaine, age 73, fell asleep, Saturday, May 17th 2025 in Zeeland, MI. She was born to Richard and Notie (Pippin) Conner on July 4th 1951 in Harper Woods, MI. Later Sharon moved with her family to Norton Shores. Sharon graduated from Mona Shores High School.
Sharon married Larry (Larren) Zarko. They had two sons together, Chetly (Chet) Zarko and Anthony (Tony) Zarko. Later they went their separate ways. Sharon worked at Howmet and had an Antique store in Whitecloud, Mi. Sharon enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, antiquing, crochet, crossword puzzles, and her cats and dogs. Sharon was especially proud of her two sons, Chetly (Chet) Zarko and Anthony (Tony) Zarko.
Chet worked for the House of Representatives state of Michigan, and owned Zarko Research and Consulting Business . He was instrumental in uncovering the fake tea party and had several newspaper articles written about him. Tony is an accomplished Artist and Bible Scholar. Tony won an award at Legacy Trust for his Fox picture and had it displayed at DeVos Hall during Art Prize.
Survivors include son, Anthony (Tony) Paul Zarko and a brother Bruce Conner. Sharon was proceeded in death by a son, Chetly (Chet) Adam Zarko of DeWitt, MI and parents, Richard and Notie Conner of Norton Shores, Mi. Former husband, Larry (Larren) Zarko Of Norton Shores, MI.
Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Muskegon, Mi on June 19th at 1 PM Thursday. Officiated by William Bruce Ziarnko.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated towards the headstone cost. Checks can be made out to Anthony Zarko. The family of the late Sharon Conner would like to extend a special thank you to Agape home.
