With hearts full of love and sorrow, we celebrate the life of Shantrese Rasheda Williams, 49, of Muskegon, who passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Born on January 6, 1976, to Herbert and Carrie Williams, Shantrese brought light, laughter, and joy to all who knew her.

A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Shantrese was known for her vibrant spirit, her love of bingo, and her passion for dancing. She had a way of making any room feel warmer with her humor, her kindness, and her ability to turn any gathering into a celebration. She was the heart of her family and the life of every party, always ready with a joke, a smile, and open arms.

She leaves behind a legacy of love in her children: Kha-ruhl Trotter, Khai'yana Trotter, and Kjuanye (Kirsten) Trotter; her stepchildren: Jontarius Trotter and Khalimah Trotter; and her beloved grandchildren: Khalani, Kaiden, Brooklyn, Kha-ruhl Jr., Kha'si, Kjuanye Jr., and Kiarie. Her spirit will also live on in her siblings: Herbert Williams (Daisy), Darwin (Lisa) Williams, Rodney Cherry, Adrian Williams, Erma Adeyemo, Claudette Cherry, Shanita Williams, Tina Williams, Latoya Cherry, Tashina Cherry, and Antayl Fields; her stepson Dequan Dowdell; her best friend Cassandra Brown; the father of her children, John Trotter, and a host of other relatives.

Shantrese now joins in eternal peace those who went before her: her parents, Herbert and Carrie Williams, her brother Christopher Williams, and her stepson Khalid Burt.

Shantrese's laughter, love, and unforgettable energy will live on in every heart she touched. Though she has left this world, her light will never fade. She will be missed beyond measure but remembered with endless love.

A service to honor her life will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Clock Funeral Home, 1469 Peck Street, Muskegon, with visitation beginning one hour prior.
