Seth Thomas Schaefer

Mr. Seth Thomas Schaefer, age 82, went home to the Lord on Saturday, May 31, 2008. He was born February 23, 1926 in Muskegon to Gladys Turner & Austin B. Schaefer and resided most of his life in the Muskegon area. Seth was a member of Cloverville Baptist Church. Seth married the former Beatrice Hill and she preceded him in death on April 14, 2007. He was also preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Benjamin Schaeffer, and his daughter, Darlene Kay and granddaughter, Love Joy Schaefer. Seth was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather; he and is survived by his children, Rev. David L. (Deborah) Schaefer, Jonathan (Barbara) Schaefer, Paul (Rebekah) Schaefer, Elizabeth (Robert) Bruinsma, James (Kathy) Schaefer; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mae Schaeffer; brother, Louis (Marcia) Irwin and by numerous nieces and nephews. SERVICES will be 1PM Monday, June 30, 2008 at Cloverville Baptist Church (4345 Heights-Ravenna Rd.) with Pastor Josh Rager officiating. Burial will be in Egelston Twp. Cemetery.
