Selma 'Sally' J. Weichner

Mrs. Selma 'Sally' J. Weichner, age 97, died Saturday, October 25, 2008. She was born in Fruitland Township, MI on April 21, 1911 to Alfred & Matilda (Swanson) Gustafson and married Emil Weichner on June 2, 1934. Mrs. Weichner had been employed as a Cashier at Hackley Union Bank & Trust for 44 years, until retiring in 1972. She was a member of the Greater Muskegon Womens Club and a past President of the Womens Division of Muskegon Chamber Commerce. But foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Mrs. Florence (Ronald) Carlson of Muskegon; grand nephews, Gary (Joan) Carlson, Wayne (Lois) Carlson, Dale (Ruth) Carlson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil; 2 brothers & 2 sisters. SERVICE Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 2:00 PM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Chapel with Rev. Robert Bierenga officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. MEMORIAL: Muskegon Rescue Mission OR Allen Avenue CRC.
