HOLMES , DDS, MS SCOTT TRAVIS Holland Scott T. Holmes , DDS, MS, age 97, died Monday, April 5, 2004. He was born in Muskegon, MI on November 26, 1906 to Andell J. & Rosa Carr Holmes & married the former Helen Marie Rosell on September 7, 1932 in Muskegon, MI. Dr. Holmes practiced Orthodontics in Muskegon for 46 years. He attended UofM Dental School and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Holland. Dr. Holmes was a past president of Muskegon Rotary Club, past president of Great Lakes Society of Orthodontists & a member of the History Club of Muskegon. He was also an inventor & sculptor. SURVIVORS Sons, Richard Scott Mary Holmes of Frederick, MD & Dr. Randall Kathryn Holmes of Golden, CO; 5 grandchildren, Shawn, Clarke, Jean Anne, Rebecca & Elisabeth; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 nieces, Imogene Maynard Klein of Casnovia and Irene Lamphear of Sparta. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, on March 25, 2004 and a niece, Barbara Wilkinson. MEMORIAL SERVICE A private memorial service was held, Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Freedom Village of Holland with Rev. Gus Nussdorfer officiating. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery.
