Scott Alan Lacy

Scott Alan Lacy, age 59, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Born in Jackson, MI, on December 18, 1966, Scott was raised with love by his parents, Gary and Betty (Walworth) Lacy. He spent his formative years in the Grand Haven area before settling in Muskegon, where he built a life filled with purpose and connection.

On April 24, 2004, Scott married the love of his life, Jane Ward. Together, they created a warm and loving home, where family was always at the heart of every gathering. Scott dedicated himself to his work at Performance Plus Car Wash on Sherman, proudly serving his community with a smile. His previous position at Dollar General on Henry Street further exemplified his commitment to hard work and helpfulness.

Scott was known for his easy smile and generous spirit, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. His deep devotion to family was evident in all aspects of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jane; his son, Paul Lacy; and four cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his father, Rev. Gary Lacy; sisters Wanda (Kevin) Kaiser and Wendy Kahler; and many loving nieces and nephews. Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lacy.

A Celebration of Life honoring Scott will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Angel Community Church, where family and friends will gather to reflect on his life and share memories.
