Scott C. Crossland

Scott C. Crossland, 8, passed away suddenly on June 6, 2008 from Dravet's Syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy. Scott is survived by his loving parents, Scott and Jeanne Crossland; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy L. Crossland and his maternal grandmother, Catherine M. Whitely; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth L. Crossland and his maternal grandfather, Howard Whitely. Scott loved school and most recently attended Beebe Elementary School, Naperville. Scott's parents cannot express in words how much they appreciate all of his doctors, nurses, teachers and therapists who have so deeply cared for Scott. The family would also greatly appreciate memorials being directed to the Epilepsy Center at Children's Memorial Hospital, Chicago. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 10, 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, Naperville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 11, 11:00 AM at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth, Naperville. Interment will follow at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
