Scott L. Boertman, Sr.

Mr. Scott L. Boertman, Sr., age 74, passed away peacefully at Hackley Hospital on Monday, February 25, 2008 after a sudden illness. He was born in Ludington, MI to Albert Earl and Gerda Boertman and had lived in the Muskegon area for most of his adult life. He had been employed for a short time on the car ferry's and freighters in Ludington, several years at different factory jobs, and lastly he was a carpenter for a small local contractor. Scott loved hunting, fishing, reading western novels and the outdoors. He is survived by 1 son, Scott Boertman, Jr.; 2 daughters, Tina Barrow and Cindy Hull, both of NC; numerous grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Frederick and Allen Boertman. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Albert Boertman and 1 sister, Janet Boertman. According to Mr. Boertman's wishes, there will be no services.
