Sarah Ida Richards, age 78, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024. She was born in Columbus, MS on March 29, 1946 to Becky Richards. In 1962 she had one son, James Richards. Sarah graduated from Muskegon High School in 1984. Sarah worked at Paul's Car Wash for many years and also the United States Postal Office. Sarah was a member of Spring St. Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, talking, laughing and watching sports especially basketball, baseball, and football.

Grandchildren, Javonn Steward, Montanius Chambers; great- grandchild, Jaden Steward; sisters, Willette Chambers, Darella Chambers, Pamella Chambers-Gurley; brothers, Will Chambers, Ozzie Chambers, Donzell Chambers; special cousin, Carlen Barnes; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Sarah was preceded in death by her only child, James Richards

SERVICE

Friday, May 24, 2024 at 12:30pm at Clock Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffrey Hough Officiating. Interment in Restlawn Cemetery.
