Sarah Larnard

Mrs. Sarah L. Larnard, age 96, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 26, 2014. She was born in Shelbyville, KY on April 5, 1918 and was a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. Sarah married Charles A. Larnard Jr. on August 19, 1940. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church and Kapa Delta Sorority. SURVIVORS Son, Thomas (Terri) Larnard of NH; daughter-in-law, Karen Larnard of North Muskegon; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Honorable Charles A. Larnard Jr. in 1978; son, Charles Larnard III in 2003; and brother, Herbert Ransdell Jr. SERVICE Saturday, August 30, 2014, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Community United Methodist Church with Rev. Phillip Friedrick officiating. Interment at Laketon Township Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Community United Methodist Church or Friends of Walker Library.
