Sarah Melinda Cox

Cox, Ms. Sarah Melinda Muskegon, Michigan Ms. Sarah Melinda Cox, age 82, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020. She was born in Lagrange, IN on May 27, 1938 to Alvin & Mary (Bonabarger) Lumm Sr.. Ms. Cox had been employed as a Bus Driver for Lakeshore Public Schools & Mona Shores Public Schools. Sarah was a member of West Michigan Worship Center and was a faithful prayer warrior in every church she attended throughour her life. She was baptized in the River Jordan during her trips to the Holy Land. She fearlessly took bibles into communist Burma (Myanmar). Sarah enjoyed crocheting, reading, crafting, sewing and loved taking care of her family. SURVIVORS Daughters, Wanda (Randy) Schmidt, Wendy (James Barber) Skorupa & Wynne (Greg) David; 7 grandchildren, Jeremy (Stacey) Skorupa, Jamie Skorupa, Joseph (Maya) Skorupa, Wayne Weaver II, Savannah Weaver, Elizabeth (Kevin) Cooper & Kimberly David; 5 great grandchildren, Kian, Braylon, Raya, Dagan sister, Barbara (Eugene) Pelfrey; son-in-law, Cliff Skorupa; brothers-in-law, Stanley Hartzler & Lawrence and Virginia Weaver; sisters-in-law, Judy Lumm & Karen Lumm; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husbands, Richard Weaver & Robert Cox, son, Wayne Weaver, grandson, Richard Weaver II, siblings, Doris (Bill) Kitchen, Mary Jane (Owen) Fennell, Joan Hartzler, Marlene Mullins, Alvin Lumm Jr. & Clarence Lumm.
