Sarah Alice Carter

Carter, Sarah Alice Muskegon Heights, Michigan Sarah Alice Carter, age 87, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at Mercy Health Partners. She was born in Brookhaven, MS on February 12, 1934 to Henry Carter & Jessie Lee. She graduated with her high school diploma and later moved to Muskegon Michigan. Sarah had been employed as a Teacher Aid for Muskegon Heights Public Schools until her retirement. Sarah accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Community Wesleyan under the leadership of Pastor Debra Jackson. She enjoyed cooking, fishing,gardening and spending time with her family. SURVIVORS Daughter, Linda Carter & Son, Dwayne Carter. Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lucius Carter and two sisters, Beatrice McMillian and Mary Nell Scott SERVICE Friday, December 10, 2021, 2:00 PM at Mona View Cemetery with Pastor Debra Jackson officiating.
