Mrs. Sandra M. (Sandy) Sandberg, age 64, passed away February 28, 2007. She was born April 21, 1942 in Battle Creek. Sandy married Kim Sandberg June 14, 1969 in Grand Haven. She has lived in Muskegon since 1970 and was a teacher at Montague Public Schools and secretary at Olivet Evangelical Free Church. Sandy was a very active member of Olivet Evangelical Free Church serving as Sunday School Superintendent, Junior High Youth Group, Women's Missionary Board and Sunday School Teacher. Also a past honored Queen of Job's Daughters. She loved to camp, bike and walk and most of all loved her family and going to Mackinaw Island every year to visit her favorite spots. She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Kim; 2 sons: Joshua Sandberg of Farmington Hills, MI and Adam Sandberg of Muskegon. 2 granddaughters: Bethanie and Caitlyn Sandberg. Her parents: Donald and Dorothy Wessel of Grand Haven. In-laws: Sandra (Walter) Jazdzyk of Grand Rapids, MI and Gary (Joan) Sandberg of Muskegon and special friend, Mary Riemersma of Commerce Township, MI. The Service will be 11:00 A. M. Saturday, March 3, 2007 from Olivet Evangelical Free Church, 1050 W. Southern Ave. in Muskegon with her Pastor Craig Cramblet officiating. Friends may meet the family 6-8 P.M. Thursday at Klaassen Family Funeral Home and 4-7 P.M. FRIDAY AT OLIVET EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to Olivet Evangelical Free Church or the American Cancer Society.
