Sandra Lee Knox, a long-time resident of Muskegon, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, at the age of 74.

Born in Arkansas on February 27, 1952, to Raymond Davis, Sr. and Annalee Harris, Sandra's journey eventually brought her to Muskegon. She pursued biblical studies at Sacramento Community College and devoted her life to being a homemaker and matriarch. Known as "mama to everybody," she lovingly raised not only her own children but played a vital role in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her home was a hub of love, faith, and strength.

Sandra was married to her beloved husband, Ronald Wilbert Knox, for 54 years until his passing in 2017. In recent years she faced significant health challenges with remarkable fortitude. Her family shares that she held on until she could be with all her children and grandchildren one last time, finding peace after a meaningful reconciliation among loved ones.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly (April Raglin) Knox, Shawn Knox, and Kevin Knox; many cherished grandchildren including India Knox, Shawn Knox Jr., Nyjah Knox, Aleka Caesar-Knox, Chyna Evans, Ajzhane Evans, Kirone Evans, Dandre Evans, Joshua Evans, Jeremiah Evans, Trinity Knox, Hazel Knox, Faith Knox, and Marley Knox; and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Henderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald, her sister Betty Jenkins, and her brother Raymond Davis.

A funeral service will be held at Clock Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery on Thursday, September 24, 2026, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
