Samuel Ryke

Samuel Ryke, age 85, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on December 5, 1929 to John & Henrietta (DeNotter) Ryke and served his country in the US Army Reserves. Samuel married the former Anna Spoelman on October 23, 1954 and worked as baker at Ryke's Bakery and then Keebler. He was a member of First Congregational Church of Fruitport and will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife of 60 years, Anna Mae; daughter, Mary Ryke; son, John (Sandra) Ryke; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Henry Ryke; sister, Ruth (Bob) Carr. He was preceded in death by his son, Samuel; daughter, Sue Ann; brother, John; and sisters, Marie & Betty. SERVICE Saturday, January 24, 2015, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at First Congregational Church of Fruitport. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
