Sally Jean Tierman

Mrs. Sally Jean Tierman, age 76, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008. She was the daughter of Pete and Vera Petroskey and they preceded her in death. Sally was married to Louis McPherson from 1949 to 1958, when he died at a young age. She has been the wife of William Tierman for the past 41 years. She is survived by William; a son, Michael McPherson of Virginia; and 1 grandson, Greg (Michelle) McPherson of Philadelphia. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Joane (Philip) Southland and Diane Scott-Bernard, both of Muskegon, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Pastor Steven Hyma officiating. Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to Harbor Hospice.
