Sally Ann Broersma

Mrs. Sally A. (Baars) Broersma, age 73, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008. She was born in Muskegon, MI on February 28, 1935 to Burl & Anna (Westerman) Beardsley and married Kenneth Baars and then Gerald Broersma after Kenneth's passing. Mrs. Broersma had been a Dental Assistant for Dr. Ferris Laraway and a Co-Owner of MarSals Children's Clothing Store in Ludington. She was a longtime former member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church of Muskegon and later attended Church of the Brethren in Onekama. Sally was a member of the Sweet Adelines of Manistee and the Melodiers of Ludington. She also enjoyed the beach, walking, & gardening. But foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Son, Garry (Julene) Baars of Ludington; daughter, Lori (Mark) Ward of Bear Lake MI; stepchildren, Lance (Mary) Broersma of Muskegon, Tammi (Jake) Veltman of N. Muskegon, Robin VanDermeulen of Muskegon; 14 grandchildren; brother Jack (Jeannie) Beardsley; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by 1st husband Kenneth, 2nd husband Gerald, & brother "Bud". SERVICE Wednesday, November 26, 2008, 11:00 AM at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church with Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating. Interment at Laketon Township Cemetery.
