Ruth Vandermolen

Mrs. Ruth. VanderMolen, age 91, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013. She was born in Newaygo, MI on April 1, 1921 to Peter & Tinnie (Pell) VanTongeren and served her country in the US Army during WWII. She married Claus VanderMolen on September 8, 1949 and had been employed as an X-Ray Technician at Mercy & Hackley Hospitals for 30 years until retiring. She regularly attended Calvary Bible Church and will be greatly missed.. SURVIVORS Son, Marvin of Muskegon; adopted daughter, Janet (John) Deters and their children, Kelli, Ashley (Matt) Lamphere, and Chad; great grandchildren, Jordyn and Brynnley; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Claus "Bud" in 2007. SERVICE Tuesday, January 8, 2013, 1:00 PM at Calvary Bible Church with Rev. Ed Arndt officiating and with Military Honors under the Auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans. Interment at Mona View Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon and Tuesday, 1 hour prior to the service at the church. MEMORIAL: Calvary Bible Church Memorial Fund.
