Ruth Lorraine Mccrea

Mrs. R. Lorraine McCrea, age 80, passed away Friday, January 25, 2008 at a local hospital. She was born May 20, 1927 in Muskegon to John and Ruth Spira. The former Ruth Lorraine Spira was married to Robert C. McCrea in Muskegon on May 17, 1952. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1992. Lorraine was a former Red Cross Volunteer and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She is survived by: 2 sons, Robert A. (Irene) McCrea of Plano, TX and Charles D. McCrea of Muskegon; 3 daughters, Linda K. (Bill) Green of Muskegon, Laurie A. (Terry) Kittel of South Carolina and Holly D. (Richard) Neterer of Mattawan, MI; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Carolin Spragg officiating at: The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 VISITATION will be Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mona View Cemetery.
