Ruth Marie Lutz LUTZ, MRS. RUTH MARIE Muskegon Mrs. Ruth Marie Lutz, age 88, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2006 at a local nursing home. She was born September 25, 1917 in Muskegon to Oscar and Mabel (Harrison) Peterson. She married Ray C. Lutz in Bryan, OH on May 31, 1941. He preceded her in death June 21, 1995. Mrs. Lutz was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and was secretary there for many years. She was employed as a secretary at Dresser Industries for 12 years until her retirement in 1984. She was a past member of the Vikings. Ruth was active in Bridge Club, loved gardening and knitted newborn baby hats for various hospitals. SURVIVORS include: 2 daughters, Linda (Terry) Huffman of Norton Shores and Valerie (David) Overhuel of Ada, MI; 1 sister, Elizabeth M. Wood of Old Town, FL; 3 grandchildren, Brent, Bryan (Laura) and Sara Hornik; 3 great-grandchildren, Sophia, Dallas and Lily Hornik. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. at the Lee Funeral Home with Fr. Joe Ashby officiating. VISITATION: Tuesday 6-8 p.m. MEMORIALS: St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
