Ruth Ann Long, age 97, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in Farmington Hills, MI. She was born in Iola, KS on August 30, 1926 to George & Esther (Teats) Davis and married Robert Long on May 15, 1948 who preceded her in death in 2009. Ruth graduated from North Muskegon High School in 1944 and was a longtime member of Community United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She was a talented pianist, played the autoharp, sang for numerous weddings and funerals and also performed in several Muskegon Civic Opera productions. Ruth and her husband Robert loved to travel, ride bicycles, run, sail and backpack and were founding members and co-directors of the Lakeshore Tasters Guild.

Daughter, Janet Moody; Son, Robert Long III (Thomas Carlson); grandchildren, Erin (Michael) Rhoads, Robert (Rebekah Winters) Long IV, Margaret Long; Brother, Robert Davis; daughter-in-law Valeria Long; special children Mayra Maqueo Mandler, Raul Maqueo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, daughter, Gayle Long, brother George Davis, son-in-law Elbert Moody and special friend Robert Bytwerk.
