Ruth Grace Haines

Mrs. Ruth G. Haines, age 99, died Saturday, November 19, 2005. She was born in Thetford, MI on June 1, 1906 to Silas & Annie Greely White and married Ralph W. Haines in 1973. Mrs. Haines had been employed as a Deputy Sheriff until retiring. She was a member of White Lake Congregational United Church of Christ, 50 year life member of the Order of the Eastern Star #221. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed golf, reading, and cooking. SURVIVORS Son, Clyde Gilmore of Rapid City, MI; 2 daughters, Helen VanDeSande of Whitehall, Barbara Dutcher of Perry, MI; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Irene VanDeSande of Bancroft, MI; several nieces & nephews.
