Ruth E. Waite Curtis

WAITE CURTIS, MRS. RUTH E. Grand Haven Mrs. Ruth Waite, age 78. Loving wife of Everett Waite and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died at her home, Sunday, October 9, 2005. Ruthie, married to Everett for 30 years, has been the mainstay for the family for her lifetime and will be greatly missed by all. Ruth had been church librarian at 44th Street Chapel for many years, was retired from Zelenka Nursery and spent several years as an antique dealer at W. Mich. Antique Mall. She will be sorely missed by her children, Marv and Cherie Curtis of Marne, MI; Linda and Charlie Mollsen of Grand Haven, MI; Ron Waite and Wanda and Bill Avery of Manton, MI; Jerry Waite of Lowell, MI, and Gary Waite, Florida. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Dawn and Justin White and Jennie Curtis of Wyoming, MI; Jeff and Sharry Curtis of Ludington, MI; Teresa Avery of Manton, MI; Amber Pierce, Courtney Pierce and Deanna and Derek Bennis of Grand Haven, MI; Ben and Erin Pierce of MN, and Brittany, Lori Beth and Matt Waite of Lowell, MI. Kathy Reed of Connecticut, Barb Waite of Cadillac, MI and Great-grandchildren, Corey, Kody, Jorden, Ashley, Matt, Alysa, Bryce, Jocelyn and Izzy will miss their GiGi. She also leaves behind her sister, Norma Ken Rau of Sand Lake, and her brothers Donald Margaret Butler and Morey Joanne Butler of Howard City as well as many nieces and nephews. SERVICES 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Clock Funeral Home, Grand Haven, with Pastor Kenneth Navis officiating, interment at Lakeshore Cemetery. VISITATION 6 PM to 9 PM on Wednesday and from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
