Ruth Caley

Ms. Ruth Ann Caley, age 80, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016. She was born in Huntington, Indiana on September 8, 1935 to Dale & Dorothy (Swain) Caley and served her country in the US Marines during the Korean War. Ms. Caley had been employed as a secretary for several places until retiring. Ruth was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Son, John Thompson of Grand Haven; daughters, Lisa (Orin) Diehm of Nunica; Theresa Thompson of Grand Haven; 7 grandchildren; brothers, David Caley of IN, Michael (Darlene) Caley of NC; sisters, Kathleen Caley of TX, Mara Sue (John) Reen of Battle Creek, Jane Troutman of Battle Creek, Debbie (Charley) Penn of IN; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step mother, sister, Mary Lo and brother, Duane Caley. SERVICE Friday, March 4, 2016, Noon at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
