Ruth Elizabeth Bennetts

Bennetts, Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth North Muskegon, Michigan Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Bennetts, age 96, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020. She was born in Muskegon, MI on October 16, 1923 to Arthur & Lora (Zorn) Peterson and married to Henwood James Garfield Bennets on June 28, 1941. Mrs. Bennetts had been employed as a custodian, crossing guard & matron for Mona Shores Public Schools for over 30 years. Ruth was a past member of Woodmere Church of God where she was a music director, enjoyed singing in the choir, and taught Sunday School for years. She also enjoyed, sewing, crocheting and playing the organ. SURVIVORS Sons, Norbert (Gail) Bennetts, Thomas (Joni) Bennetts, Randy Bennetts; daughter, Garlinda (John) Traxler; 26 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren & several great great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jim, son, Robert, sisters, Evelyn brother, Robert. SERVICE Friday, February 7, 2020, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Community United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeremy Williams officiating.
