KINGSBURY, MR. RUSSELL R. Muskegon Mr. Russell R. Kingsbury, age 77, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003. He was born in Muskegon, MI on September 14, 1925 to Lynn & Marjorie Perkins Kingsbury & married the former Helen Morris Caprara on June 16, 1973. Mr. Kingsbury served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII & had been employed at Consumers Power until retiring in 1987. Mr. Kingsbury was a member of the Don Rea V.F.W. Post 8846 where he was a former Adjutant, Past Commander & Junior Vice. He was also a member of the State Honor Guard, Algot Johnson American Legion Post 69 & White Lake Eagles Aerie #3214. He had coached Pony League baseball, enjoyed fishing & hunting, especially hunting with his two sons at the 3D Deer Camp in Custer, SD. Russell was a wonderful husband, father & grandfather who enjoyed his family very much. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends & his dog, Sparky. SURVIVORS Wife, Helen; 2 sons, Gary Jane Kingsbury of Mitchell, SD & Joe Lori Morris of Whitehall, MI; 2 daughters, Barbara Luci of Muskegon, MI & Rita Joe VanDyke of Montague, MI; 7 grand- children, Shelli Patrick Mourain, Rajeana Kingsbury, Gregory Cyndi Luci, Jill Lambert, Garrit Gibbs, Kimberly Gibbs & Mark Goldade; 4 great-grandchildren, Matthew Mourain, Kyah Luci, Josh Melin & Lori Walker; many nieces & nephews; former wife, Eunice Kingsbury. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ethel; brother, Ralph & by his great-grandson, Justice Kingsbury. SERVICE Wednesday, May 28, 2003, 11:00 AM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor William Uetricht officiating. Interment at Laketon Township Cemetery.
