Russell Gable

Mr. Russell E. Gable, age 83, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012. He was born in Chicago, IL on April 19, 1928 to Arthur & Johanna (Steube) Gable and served in the US Navy during WWII. He married the former Roseleen Emily Andresen on September 14, 1946. Mr. Gable had been employed as a machinist at Kaydon Corp. for 39 years until retiring in 1990. He attended Olivet Reformed Church and was a photographer and hunter who loved dogs, music, old movies and Big Red football. SURVIVORS Children, Richard (Sandy) Gable of Muskegon, Sandra (Tony) Stone of Washington, Mark (Laurie) Gable of Muskegon, Kathy (Robert) Letherby of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Patricia Gable of Cadillac. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Roseleen on May 18, 2011; son, Roger; grandchildren, Steven Stone & Brian Gable; sister, Delores VanderStelt. MEMORIAL SERVICE Thursday, January 26, 2012, 11:00 AM and visitation 1 hour prior to the service at Olivet Reformed Church, 2018 Shettler Rd., Muskegon MI 49444 with Rev.
