MAJOR, MRS. RUBY L. Muskegon Mrs. Ruby L. Major, age 71, went to be with her Lord & Savior, Wednesday, December 24, 2003. She was born in Muskegon on April 2, 1932 to Bernard H. & Martha Zeilinski Lackey and married William Major on May 28, 1964. Mrs. Major had been employed as a Clerk at the County of Muskegon Friend of the Court until retiring in 1993. SURVIVORS 2 sons, David Sharon Lackey, Dan Brenda Major, both of Muskegon; 3 daughters, Debra Major of Muskegon, Denise Michael Nguyen of Aurora, CO, Charlotte David Fuson of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; brothers & sisters, Mary Louis Breitels of Spring Lake, Betty Moyer of Raeford, NC, Bernard H. Holly Lackey, Jr. of Spring Lake, June Tom Laban of Muskegon, Shirley Jim Dinger of Muskegon; Godparent, Arlene Ryder of Muskegon; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Major on December 10, 1992. SERVICE Monday, December 29, 2003, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
