Ruby Mae Brown

Ruby Mae Brown, born November 19, 1956 passed away peacefully in her home October 12, 2020. Ms. Brown was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Mary Alice Brown and the late John Thomas Brown. Although Ruby was born in North Carolina, she was raised and made a life for herself in Muskegon, Michigan. While growing up Ruby attended Muskegon Heights Public Schools as well as Muskegon Public Schools. Later in life Ruby obtained her G.E.D from the Craig Adult Training Program using that to hold various jobs throughout her life. Ruby leaves behind to cherish her memories; her mother; Mary Alice Brown, sisters; Betty Ann Brown and Kathy K. Brown. Brothers; John C. Brown and Michael W. Brown, all of Muskegon, Michigan. Ruby also leaves behind two children; Catrina L. Walker and Curtrail J. Walker, her beloved grandchildren; Carien Walker, Ky'Lin Walker, Dominique Smith Jr and Jayshaun Jones also of Muskegon, MI, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition Ruby leaves behind one special friend, Rosemary Williams. She was proceeded in death by her father, John Thomas Brown, as well as Aunts and Uncles.
