Scott, Mr. Ross "Rawbone" Whitney Muskegon, Michigan Mr. Ross "Rawbone" Whitney Scott, age 57, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. He was born in Muskegon, MI on March 10, 1962 to Richard "Dick" Walter & Carol Ann (Gangwer) Scott. Ross was a professional painter by trade for more than 30 years. Early on in life, his artistic abilities showed through in everything he did. He also loved cars and bikes. He won numerous awards with his projects. Later in his sobriety, Ross graciously declined being put on the liver transplant list so someone else could receive that gift of life. "A big, black Caddy pulled up. Looked like the old man, Rodgie Dually, Turner and Allison were in it. Grabbed him, and sped off with Sedgley at the wheel." SURVIVORS: Siblings, Rick Scott, Ryan (Linda) Scott and Kendal Scott; sister-in-law, Teresa Scott; step brother, Robert "Bob" Scott; nieces and nephews, Keith (Beth) Scott, Heather (Jeff) Lyons, Richard (Jessica) Scott, Rustin (Jamie) Scott, Nick (Amanda) Leisenring, David England and Renae, Quinton (Emily) Scott, Rodger (Kacie) Scott, Allison Scott and Natalynne Scott and Owen; step-daughter, Renae and family; close friends, Patti Joslin and Mindy Sweet. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, brother, Rodger Scott and sister-in-law, Jodi.
