Rosemary Walley

Mrs. Rosemary. Walley, age 89, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011. She was born in Racine, WI on March 7, 1922 to Steven & Mary (Moko) Barchak and served in the US Navy WAVES during WWII. She married Robert G. Walley on October 17, 1953. Mrs. Walley had been employed at Sealed Power and later as a secretary at Continental Motors and E.H. Sheldon until retiring. She was a communicant of St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church and enjoyed canning, gardening, knitting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. SURVIVORS Son, David (Robin) Walley of Fruitport; grandsons, Nathan & Michael; nieces, Judy (Larry) Pratt, Lyn Wilson, Loretta (Jay) Rop and several other nieces and nephews; trusted companion, Hilde. SERVICE Monday, March 28, 2011, 2:00 PM and visitation 1 hour prior to the service at St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church with Fr. Matthew Barnum officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
