Rosemary Davidson Vreeland passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025 at the age of 94.

Rosemary was born in Niagara Falls, New York on December 19, 1930 and was a citizen of the White Lake area for over 70 years. She attended Alfred University in New York and later received her teaching certifications at Western Michigan University. Rosemary had a long teaching career in the Whitehall public schools participating in the education of two generations of some families and her own two sons! Rosemary's interests included gardening (she was a founding member of the Dirt Dauber Garden Club in the White Lake area), birding as a member of the Audubon Society which she combined with travel to Central America and the Caribbean for birding expeditions. She also loved reading often saying "thank God for the written word". Rosemary will be deeply missed by all those who were fortunate to know her.


SURVIVORS

Rosemary is survived by: her two sons, William (Paula) Davidson, and James (Julie) Davidson; and their families including four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40+ years James G. Davidson Jr. and her second husband Stewart Vreeland.


SERVICES

A memorial service will take place at 11:00AM on May 10th 2025 at White Lake United Methodist Church 855 Cook St, Montague MI 49437. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the start of the service at church.


In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to White Lake United Methodist Church, or the Dirt Daubers Garden Club
