Roseanna Sanborn

SANBORN, MRS. ROSEANNA Muskegon, MI Mrs. Roseanna Sanborn, age 99, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 24, 2002. The former Roseanna Raymond was born on July 26, 1903 in Rock, MI in the Upper Peninsula. She was one of 15 children born to Oriel & Nellie Alaire Raymond. Rose came to Muskegon in 1929 & worked at Brunswick Corp. & the Norge for 27 years. On September 8, 1931 she married Charles J. Sanborn. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1971 following 39 years of marriage. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Prior to living at the Hermitage, Rose had resided in her home on East Forest Ave. in Muskegon for over 60 years. SURVIVORS 1 sister, Violet Mayotte of Munising, MI; many nephews & nieces, great nephews & nieces as well as a good friend, Laura Regnier of Grand Haven, MI. Besides her husband, Roseanna was preceded in death by 9 brothers & 4 sisters. MEMORIAL SERVICE Friday, September 27, 2002, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Randall Hansen & Chaplain Jan Johnson officiating followed by a reception at the funeral home. VISITATION Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home.
