Mrs. Rose L. Wirtz, age 97, died Tuesday, December 18, 2007. She was born in Holton, Michigan on May 14, 1910 to Joseph J. & Rose E. (DeMars) Martin & married Joseph J. Wirtz on June 12, 1937. Mrs. Wirtz had been employed as a teacher for 44 years & retired as Principal of Reeths Puffer Elementary in June of 1972. SURVIVORS 1 sister, Mildred Hayden of Alexandria, VA; several nieces & nephews; special nephew, Srean Joseph (Donna) Yager. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, 3 brothers & 2 sisters. SERVICE Saturday, December 22, 2007, 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Brown officiating. Interment at St. Michael Cemetery, Brunswick, MI. VISITATION Friday, 7-9 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Rocket Scholars Foundation Reeths Puffer Schools 991 W. Giles Rd. Muskegon, MI 49445.
