Rose Peterman

Mrs. Rose V. Peterman, age 98, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2014, the day before her ninety ninth birthday. She was born in Muskegon, MI on April 15, 1915 and enjoyed her full life here in the city. On April 9, 1947 she married Louis J. Peterman. He was co-owner of the Pine Street Furniture Company. Rose worked for many years at the family grocery store, Kielar's Market on 6th Street, along with her brother Frank and sister Mary. She was a devoted member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society. Special thanks are extended to the care givers at Dayspring Assisted Living for the years of loving care given to Rose. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Tuesday, April 22, 2014, 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Fr. Phil Salmonowicz officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday from 10:00-10:30 AM with a Rosary Service at 10:30 AM at the church. MEMORIAL: A memorial gift in Rose's memory may be given to St. Michael's Catholic Church or the charity of your choice.
