Rose I. Michell

MITCHELL, MRS. ROSE 'ROSIE' Rose Irene Mitchell, 75, of Grand Haven, died Jan. 4, 2005 at Hospice House of Holland. She was born June 18, 1929 to Joseph and Mary Smith Puleo in Grand Rapids, MI and married Laurence E. Mitchell on Sept. 4, 1954 in Grand Haven. She volunteered as a room mother for years and also cleaned at Central School. She was employed at the Ottawa County Bldg. for 23 years, until retiring in 1993. Rose will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and sister in law. Her family was her life and she was theirs. Survivors include her mother, Mary Puleo of Grand Haven; four daughters, Mary Jo Cameron Yoas of Phoenix, AZ, Susie Doug Campbell, Linda Mitchell Mike Gallagher, and Laura Brad Trip all of Grand Haven; grandchildren, Jason McKee, Matthew Andrea McKee, Andrew McKee, Ashley Starr, Amy Amos, Brandon and Jordon Tripp and Sarah Campbell; great grandchildren, Ashlynne McKee, River McKee, Skyler and Kadyn Amos; sisters, Caroline McFadden of Grand Haven, Delores Lamar Barger of Hampton, VA; brother, Thomas Trudy Puleo of Grand Haven; sister in law, Beverly Salisbury of Spring Lake; many nieces and Nephews who she enjoyed so much. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence on Feb 18, 2003; father, Joseph Puleo; brother in law, Al McFadden and her sister in law, Juanita Wells. SERVICE 2 PM, Friday, Jan. 7, 2005 at Clock Funeral Home with Rev. Mr. Richard Fett officiating. VISITATION 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thurs. at the funeral home. MEMORIAL: Hospice House of Holland.
