BALAWENDER, MRS. ROSE MARIE Spring Lake Mrs. Rose M. Balawender, age 89, died Monday, April 25, 2005. She was born in Chicago, IL on February 11, 1916 to Julius & Helen Orosz Vig & married Joseph Balawender on July 20, in Grand Haven, MI. Mrs. Balawender had been employed as a Clerk at W.T. Grant. She was an Communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church - Spring Lake. Mrs. Balawender was an avid gardener, loved flowers & was accomplished in crocheting. SURVIVORS 2 daughters, Kathy Gary Bowerman of Ionia & Christine James Szydlowski of Grand Haven; 4 grandchildren, Theresa, Kelley, Mark 10 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Helen William Beechum of Muskegon; 1 brother, Joseph Marvel Vig of Muskegon; many nieces & nephews; special friends Ethel & Dorothy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 1995, 4 sisters & 2 brothers. SERVICE Friday, April 28, 2005, 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church - Spring Lake with Fr.
