Mr. Ronning, age 53, died December 13, 2006. Born March 2, 1953, in Grant, to Russell and Edith (Mathews) Ronning, he had lived in the White Lake area for a number of years. On June 11, 1983, in Fremont, he married the former Kathy L. McConaughy. He had worked at Goodwill Industries and was a member of White Lake Congregational UCC. Mr. Ronning was a Past Worshipful Master of Montague-Whitehall Lodge #198 F, was Worthy Patron of White Lake Order of Eastern Star #201, was a member of Muskegon County Emergency Communication Services and was a long time member of Muskegon Area Amateur Radio Council, call letters "K8AER". FAMILY: His wife, Kathy; his parents, Russell & Edith Ronning of Muskegon; 2 brothers, Richard (Debbie) Ronning of Muskegon and Paul (Pam) Ronning of Grand Haven; step-grandmother, Nettie Ronning of White Cloud; mother-in-law, Alice McConaughy of North Muskegon; 2 brothers-in-law, Robert (fiancee Rita) McConaughy of Montague and Donald (fiancee Karleen) McConaughy of Ferrysburg; an aunt, Alice Mathews of North Muskegon; an uncle, Earl "Johnny" (Annabelle) Ronning of Jackson; nieces & nephews; his beloved pet cat, Boots. SERVICE: Monday, December 18, 2006, at 11:00 AM, at White Lake Congregational UCC with the Rev. Keith N. Koebel and the Rev. Pam L. Koebel officiating. Interment will be made in Oakhurst Cemetery - Whitehall. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held during the funeral, on Monday, at the church. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 5-8 PM, at Clock Funeral Home in Whitehall. An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held Sunday at 5:45 PM, at the funeral home in Whitehall. DONATIONS: Memorial Fund of White Lake Congregational UCC, 1809 S. Mears Ave., Whitehall 49461.
