Ronald Charles Dykman

Ronald Charles Dykman, age 72, died on March 18, 2008, in South Carolina, while on a much anticipated golf vacation with his son, Mike. He was born on June 30, 1935 in Fremont to Melbourne and Elizabeth (Arendsen) Dykman and was married to his beloved Linda Lou (Fairbanks) for 42 years until her death in 2001. Ron retired from the United States Air Force with the rank of Major and from Muskegon County where he was the manager of data processing. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. He is survived by three children, Karl of Norton Shores, Kryssis Diane (BJ) Bjork of Fruitport, and Michael (Kyle Neal) of Lake Orion; former daughter-in-law Diann (Bow) of Holton; two grandsons, Karl and Nicholas; sister, Sue Barnes, and brothers Rex (Alice), Kent, and Phil; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ruth Ann "Gussie" and Jack Nowak; brother-in-law John Fairbanks; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was preceded by his parents, sisters Earlyne and Melissa (Kevin) Bushaw, his parents-in-law, Lewis and Stella (Hardy) Fairbanks, and sister-in-law, Doris "Dodie" Mitchell. Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Friend, you are deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
