Ronald Keith Cooper, age 66, found his wife during the thunder and lightning storm on Saturday, February 23, 2019. He was born in Muskegon, MI on July 7, 1952 to Douglas & Leah (Rust) Cooper and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He married the former Joyce Marshall on December 16, 1979. Mr. Cooper had been employed as a Welder for Kurdziel Iron of Rothbury, Inc. until retiring. Ronald was a member of Wolf Lake United Methodist Church and enjoyed building things, fishing and his wife. SURVIVORS Son, Shane Cooper of Rothbury; step daughter, Bambi (Charles) Rinehart of Muskegon; step son, Mark Derby of Muskegon; grandchildren, Nicole Austin of Muskegon, Austin Goldberg of Twin Lake; siblings, Bernard (Lolet) Cooper of CA, Jon (Pam) Cooper of TN, Dawn Klepps of FL, Mary Cooper of Ravenna; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce in 2008 and his parents and brother, Mike Cooper. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Friday, March 1, 2019, 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Wolf Lake United Methodist Church with a time of sharing at 2:30 pm. MEMORIAL: Noah Project.
