Roger Barnett Roberson, 71, of Muskegon Heights, MI passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 04, 2024. He was born on July 01, 1952, to the union of Son Roberson and Kary (White) Roberson. He was a graduate of Muskegon Heights Senior High, he joined the Marine Corps after high school until he was honorably discharged. After returning to Muskegon, he spent his working career caring for others as a Nursing Assistant and a paralegal. Roger later married, Teresa Roberon on July 16, 2011. Roger loved to practice law, some may say Roger was a lawyer without a law degree, and attorneys came to him for advice on occasion. He dabbled in boxing, he loved to go fishing, spend time with friends, and spend time with his bonus child, Marlin"Marty" Kelly.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Teresa (Walker) Roberson; mother, Kary (White) Roberson; daughters, Teresa (Manual) of Idaho, Shawn (Maurice) of Detroit, MI, Melissa Roberson of California, Jackie Meadows of Grand Rapids, MI, Paretta Gilbert of Holland, MI; 17 grandchildren, Tanesha, Mekhiya, Jahtae, Kaleah, Tayla, Cayla, Ale'A Thomas, Chablis, John, Jonaya, Markisha, Paris, Arthur, Jada, Jala, Jazmine, Dominique; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Beasley, Debra (Ivar) Spears; brother, Roger Churchill; one son overseas. He was preceded in death by his father Son Roberson; son, Roger Roberson Jr; grandmother Carolyn White; brother Lonnie Roberson; 3 aunts, Josephine (Eger), Maxine, Lena; 2 uncles, CT, John; nephew, Earl Curtis Lewis. He will be missed by all who knew him.
