Rodger Herbert Kroes

Kroes, Mr. Rodger Herbert Spring Lake, Michigan Mr. Rodger Herbert Kroes, age 92, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021. He was born in Muskegon, MI on April 16, 1929 to Herman & Evelyn (Mogren) Kroes. He married the former Jeanne French on October 29, 1948. On December 8, 2012 he married the former Ardythe "Ardy" Hansen. Mr. Kroes had been employed as a wholesale hardware salesman at Hardware Distributors for over 45 years. Rodger was a member of First Presbyterian Church, past member of the North Muskegon Lions Club and was active with Habitat for Humanity. He enjoyed golf, running, reading and especially skiing. Rodger was known for his quick sense of humor and countless entertaining stories. He was a deeply dedicated family man and his love was truly unconditional. SURVIVORS Wife, Ardythe "Ardy" Bulthouse; children, Karen (Steven) Weintrob, Debra (Douglas) Cox, Timothy (Susan) Kroes; 5 grandchildren, Christopher (Debra) Weintrob, Elizabeth "Libby" Weintrob, Ryan (Jordan) Cox, Jessie Kroes & Dylan Kroes; 3 great grandchildren, Theo & Zazie Weintrob & Xander Cox; sisters-in-law, Mary Anne Kroes & Tara Ramona; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jeanne in 2005, 5 siblings, Audrey (Richard) Harvey, Harris (June) Kroes, Kenneth (Gloria) Kroes, Bill Kroes & Donald Kroes.
