Roberta Oslund

Mrs. Roberta L. Oslund, age 85, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 20, 2014. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on December 26, 1928 to Howard & Ruth Truax and married Dr. Richard Oslund on December 26, 1956. Mrs. Oslund had been a talented artist working in oils, acrylics and watercolor. She was very involved with multiple West Michigan Art Galleries especially the Muskegon Art Gallery and became President of the Muskegon Fine Arts Guild. Roberta was a member of First Congregational Church UCC and former member of Community United Methodist Church. She enjoyed wintering in Green Valley AZ for over 15 years. SURVIVORS Husband of 57 years, Richard; sons, Jeff (Raelene) Oslund of Boyne City, Brett Oslund of Muskegon; daughter, Wendy Oslund Morrow of NH; grandchildren, Ashley Oslund Altamirano, Heather Oslund, Geoffrey Morrow, Sarah Morrow Grotenhuis, Jenah Oslund Mead; sister, Joyce Truax of MN. She was preceded in death by her parents. SERVICE Private Services will be held at a later date. MEMORIAL: First Congregational Church UCC.
