Roberta Jean Johnson

Johnson, Mrs. Roberta Jean Muskegon, Michigan Mrs. Roberta Jean Johnson, age 92, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 10, 2021. She was born in Muskegon, MI on January 26, 1929 to Charles & Edna (Taylor) Pider. She married Robert William Johnson on September 10, 1949. Mrs. Johnson had volunteered as a crossing guard for Muskegon Public Schools and then worked at Anaconda Credit union. Roberta was a past member of Lakeside United Methodist Church and current member of First Presbyterian Church. Roberta enjoyed being a volunteer at Hackley Hospital Gift shop for over 30 years. She enjoyed swimming at the Muskegon Y for over 35 years, riding her bike, sailing with her husband, read 2 books a week and was an avid bridge player. Roberta cherished her time spent with her loving family. SURVIVORS Daughter's, Judy Lynne (Patrick) Collins & Nancy Gail Evans; grandchildren, Erin (Vargs) Kittredge, Evan Johnson, Taylor (Chris Jacobsen) Collins, Sam Collins, Robert Evans; great grandchildren, McKenzie, Oliver, Emerson, Brielle, Hazel & Wesley; several nieces, nephews, cousins & many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert, sister's, Barbara Delmar & Jennie Ely & a brother, Lester Ely. MEMORIAL SERVICE A memorial service will be held on June 11, 2022, at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at First Presbyterian Church.
