Robert "Skip" Wiltenburg

Robert "Skip" Wiltenburg, age 59 passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2008. He was born in Ludington on November 26, 1949 to Robert and Katie Wiltenburg. He Is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary; his son, Sean (Lori); three grandchildren, Tommy, Patrick, and Scott; his mother, Katie; a brother, John (Tina); sister, Kathy (Fred) Van Cor; several in-laws, nieces and nephews, and his dog Abby. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wiltenburg, and a sister, Janet Johnson. Skip was graduated from Orchard View High School in 1968 where he was involved in both band and theater. He was a member of the Vikings and the Teamsters, and past member of the Knights of Columbus in Grand Haven. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and spending time with his family. Skip worked for Pioneer Resources. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church, on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Vikings Scholarship Fund.
