Robert Wheeler

Mr. Robert L. Wheeler, age 87, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013. He was born in Muskegon, MI on January 1, 1926 to Charles & Selma (Schmidt) Wheeler and served his country in the US Army Air Force. He married the former Shirley Gundersen on February 14, 1953 and had been a self-employed accountant until retiring. He was an avid baseball fan who loved Jazz and Big Band music, classic movies and photography. SURVIVORS Wife of 60 years, Shirley; sons, Thomas Wheeler of Muskegon, Timothy Wheeler of Hudsonville; daughter, Susan Wheeler of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Charles (Ann) Wheeler Jr. of CO; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sigmund & Eleanor Morvaji of IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lucille Harrington. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Monday, July 22, 2013, 6:00-8:00 PM at the Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery.
