Robert James Thompson

Thompson, Mr Robert James Muskegon, Michigan Robert James Thompson, age 69, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022. He was born in Muskegon, MI on July 9, 1953 to Victor & Bess (Wildmuth) Thompson and served his country in the US Navy as a Torpedo-man's Mate onboard USS Goldsborough & USS Whipple from 1971-1975. He later graduated from Michigan State with his Bachelors and MBA. Bob married his pen pal, the former Elizabeth Wilterdink on July 26, 1975. Mr. Thompson had been employed as a Certified Public Accountant for 45 years working at Alexander Grant, Danielson-Shultz, and until starting his own company. Robert was a member of Samuel Lutheran Church and was on their finance committee. SURVIVORS Wife, Elizabeth Thompson; sons, Keith (Nikki) Thompson, Alexander (Sarah) Thompson, James (Julie) Thompson; grandchildren, Hunter, Trent, Logan, Caleb, Gavin, Adam, Adrianna, Tristan, Evan; brother, William (Joyce) Thompson of New York City.
