Robert Taylor

Robert John Taylor, age 82 passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007. He was born on April 25, 1925 to the late John and Stella Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Taylor; a daughter, Patricia Steward; granddaughter, Jennifer Steward; step-children, Thomas, Cheri, Brian, Howard, Bruce Plichta, and Becky Blanshine; six step-grandchildren; a sister, Ellen (James) Robinson; a brother-in-law, Floyd Clark; and sister-in-law, Beverly Taylor. Along with his parents Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Taylor; and two sisters, Marge (Chester) Ruthkowski, and Betty Clark. Robert was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of VFW Don Rea Post 8846, in North Muskegon. He retired from Michigan Con Gas Company. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., on Monday, April 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the VFW Don Rea Post 8846. .
