Robert Swanson

Mr. Robert Swanson, age 84, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on March 17, 1931 to Walter & Ruth (Jackson) Swanson and served his country in the US Army. He married the former Marcia Buit and had been a service manager for Vincent Chevrolet for 40 years until retiring. Robert was a life time member of V.F.W. Lt Wilbur Leroy Boyer Post #3195 and long time member of the Mona Lake Boat Club. Robert enjoyed fishing and gardening, but foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS Sons, Thomas (Linda) Swanson of Norton Shores and David (Judy) Swanson of Muskegon; granddaughter, Jill; several nieces & nephews. MEMORIAL GATHERING A gathering to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015, 4:00 pm at the Mona Lake Boat Club Pavilion. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice.
